This website is run by the Faculty of Law. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Images: Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content).
- Navigation: Some interactive elements (like drop-down menus in the 'Applying' section) may be difficult to navigate via keyboard. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.1.1 (Keyboard).
- Contrast: Some text elements may have low contrast against their background, particularly in footer or sidebar areas. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast Minimum).
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents Many of our older PDFs and Word documents (such as past lecture schedules or archived brochures) do not meet accessibility standards. The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
Our accessibility roadmap shows how and when we plan to improve accessibility on this website:
- Annual Review: We conduct an annual review of the site's most-visited pages to ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
- Training: We provide accessibility training for staff who create web content.
- New Content: All new PDFs or documents published to the BA site are checked for accessibility before upload.
